Utility-Scale Solar

Approximately 325 megawatts (MW) of investor-owned utility scale photovoltaic solar are required to meet the Minnesota 1.5 percent Solar Energy Standard by 2020. Xcel Energy has current plans to add 200MW of solar power, which is about thirteen times more than the state’s current solar capacity.
